Preschool!

We did our traditional pumpkin carving for FHE on Monday night. One pumpkin for each kiddo, Katurah's is top left, Zeke's is top right (he's amazing huh?!? Lol), Pantera's is bottom left, and Amari's bottom right. They had a blast getting out the guts and were all so darn proud when we put the candles inside of them.
Zeke has some big news...HE GOT INTO A PRESCHOOL!!! I got a random text on Friday from a friend who has older kids asking if Zeke would be interested in preschool at our local highschool. I figured they wouldn't accept him seeing as every preschool requires them to be potty trained and as I have previously documented, he is not even close. Maybe it's because we live so close and I promised to be there the minute he had an accident, maybe it was me pulling the Autism card, but they said we could give it a try. I am so excited for him.  He will miss a couple of weeks in November, he has to get his tonsils out on the 8th :(
He had an ice cream cone before I took his picture, he looks like an angel with a dirty face.
He is obsessed with his alphabet right now, but has to be running around the room when he tells us his letter sounds. I built him some shelves in his room to display his cars and his life has been so complete. He asks me to "make a collection" with him AKA help him put all of his cars on the shelf so he can take each one down and describe it in detail. It's interaction.
Pantera is just at that awesomely goofy stage of life. She comes home with these "hilarious" things that she and her friends come up with, I don't get it half of the time. I have to brag a little about her. When I went to the open house for her school, the faces of each parent and/or teacher just lit up everytime I would introduce myself as her mother. I really have never seen a kid who has such an affect on everyone she meets. Her art teacher was particularly hilarious as he was very monotone with the other parents then quite animated when he heard she was mine "I LOVE THAT GIRL!"  Pantera, you have a gift, please always use it wisely, you are going to do something BIG!!!

Amari is way into Barbie's these days. I loved them growing up so I don't mind playing with her one bit. She has one that sings when you push her hand or as Amari like to call it "Her memote." This is all I have heard all day long for the past 3 days, she sings along with it and only gets part of the last word in each sentence right...ADORABLE!!! Although I had to ban the doll from her bed, because she kept Amari up from her nap. Look at her crazy tough face...

Speaking of crazy tough, this little girl loves to brawl! She has started tackling her siblings and when they were all in bed last night (notice I said in bed, not asleep, asleep doesn't actually happen these days), she was tackling a pile of pillows and having a blast.
She likes to pretend to talk on the phone. If you have a phone and are near her she will throw a fit until you give it to her. She is WALKING everywhere now. Considering how big she is I am surprised she started so early, she is my second earliest walker at 10 1/2 months. Lucky for me she packed on a little extra chubb so it might take a while to lose those cheeks, thanks Katurah!
