Pantera is obsessed with superheroes. She also screams in her sleep every night. As she was talking about what powers she would want I told her that her super power would be being a creep at night time. The world would know her as "Sleep Creeper" and then I wrote her a theme song:
Sleep Creeper, she's the creepiest sleeper,
She screams in the night and you don't know why,
cuz she won't ever look you straight in the eye,
so you better watch out if you're a bad guy,
SLEEP CREEPER!
A super hero name and jingle?!? She wasn't impressed, but Jess was jealous and started to pout a little like he loves to do. So I made him a name and a jingle as well:
Watch out for the Pout!
He will make your brain feel like it just got gout,
He will say he's lame,
but you better be ware that it's all a game,
Watch out for the Pout!
This is what I do in my spare time, and I'm sure my family is so glad:)

Birthday boy
I can't believe how few pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks. I think I have set a record for myself and I am highly disappointed in me. I guess we have had a lot going on. Last Saturday Seneca started breathing funky and turning blue. Like how I typed that all casual? I was shaking so bad as I tried to dial 911 that it took me like 3 tries. We were taken to children's hospital and stayed for 2 days. She was a lot better as soon as they gave her some oxygen, and actually quite happy considering she had spiked a fever on her way up there. They ran every test in the book on her (including a spinal tap poor thing!) and came up with pretty much nothing. They think it was a UTI that caused a fever that spiked rapidly causing a seizure. But unfortunately they never ran the urine sample they took so we will never know. She is doing great now and has been so much happier since she has been home.
She missed her siblings while we were away. We saw a little girl about Pantera's age with the same haircolor as Pantera and Seneca starting talking and cooing like crazy! She wanted that girls attention so bad. Then when we actually got to go home she talked most of the ride home and just smiled and smiled at her siblings in the back seat of the van. I love that they love eachother so much.
Amari helped Katurah get into a horse costume. I loved the way she was trying to walk with both legs in one hole, so funny. Why were they dressed as horses? I hid the Mike Wasoski costume, that's why.
We had a family tragedy this week. Zeke's fish "Slimy" passed away suddenly. As Zeke was crying, Amari informed me "We were holding it at bed time." Poor fish! He has been in there room for 6 months with no problems, I guess his slimy scales became irresistible.
Bluestar looking as regal and royal as ever. We are working on Pantera's room this week. It was black chalkboard walls halfway up to a chairrail and pink on the top. I was informed that "If any of my friends come over it will be really embarrassing." We are going for an Avengers theme and it's looking pretty good so far, can't wait to post pics.
Jess turned 31 today...oldilocks! He started his birthday out right by throwing up all night. This may have been a ploy to get out of church and have the house to himself, still haven't decided. The kids made the usual big stink for his big day. I love how excited they get. Pantera and Amari stayed up late making him special cards. When they presented the cards this morning, Zeke was really stressed that he hadn't made one. So he went to a notebook we have been using to teach him sight words and tore of a page with his name and a picture I drew of him and gave it to Jess. It was darling. Happy birthday Jessiboy, you are like a fine wine better with time and I will have to talk to the bishop if I drink you.

Mixin
Katurah is starting to talk a little bit more everyday. She is doing really well trying to enunciate during prayers. When we pray for grandma and papa she says "gamma and PAPA!" cuz you know papa is so very exciting. My other favorite is when we pray for Uncle Jake she just says "Yoho." That's what she calls Jake and the Neverland Pirates so naturally that's who we're praying for.
We bought a huge pack of socks the other day. I guess we are pretty hard up for entertainment because we laughed and laughed as Amari came down with ALL of the socks in the package on at once. She is such a clown she lives to make people laugh. She carefully removed all of the socks a little while later and we had a foot on the table...creepy...
Amari was singing Rudolph today, "You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Blixson, and Mixon, Common, and Cupin, and you them all, the most famous reindeer of all...."
Christmas caused a lot of confusion at our house, Zeke thought he was 6 and Amari thought she turned 4. I guess any time you get a boat load of presents that means you get older, it makes sense.
Zeke was playing with this sticky lizard toy and made it stick to the wall, which made it look kind of realistic. I told him he should trick his sisters into thinking we got a pet lizard. Amari was taking a nap at the time and I heard him trying to get her up by saying "Amari wake up, I need to trick you!" Super sneaky Zeke.
I downloaded a Autism social story game and let him play it. It talks about how making friends is fun and gives some ideas on how to do that, such as look at there face when you talk to them and ask them about there interests like what there favorite movie is. He played for a while, then later that night I heard him ask Jess what his favorite movie is. He has asked everyone who has come to our house. So if Zeke knows your favorite movie, you must be his friend.
Zeke got a CTR ring today in Primary and boy is he proud. He is still wearing it now, green fingers tomorrow!
Seneca is doing good. I jokingly call her my bipolar baby, when she is happy she is so happy, but that can change so fast and watch out when she is mad. She is still quite the mama's girl, but has been letting daddy hold her (over an hour yesterday!!!) a little bit here and there.
Baby number 5 has not been easy. I am so glad I got help and was put on antidepressants early, or I don't know if I would have survived this. There are days that I feel like I have totally lost myself and I can't deal with anyone needing one more thing from me. There are also moments of sheer joy where I can't believe how very blessed I am and how wonderful my children are. Sometimes I think people think I deal with everything a lot better then what I actually do inside, I guess I just hide it better than some and I still do my hair, so I'm doing great right? On a very positive note, this experience of the overly dependent child has taught me to say no a lot easier, something I have always struggled with. You want to come over so I can give you full highlights?...ummmm no. Really people? Ok done with my rant, I just felt like I needed to document the reality of this, maybe my kids will need to hear this someday.
My mom suggested I paint little critter on Zeke's wall. So we repainted there entire room and in the moments Seneca let Jess hold her I did this...
Zeke said "it looks perfect!" When I asked Amari what she wants on her wall she said "A painting of baby Seneca so everyone knows I have this little one, yes I do! Yes I do! Or maybe some butts." Nice.
I got a super sweet vinyl machine from my parents and now my stairs are cool...
Happy New Year 2014's gonna be awesome!!!
