Who has 2 thumbs and a coach purse?

Pantera is the VERY PROUD owner of her first coach purse. Our lesson in relief society was on living within your means. I brought up the question of how to teach your children, giving the example of me being cheap and Pantera wanting a coach purse. After the meeting a girl we go to church with asked Pantera if she could talk to her, then handed her this:
She was so excited, she ran around and told EVERYONE! She is currently snuggled up to it on the couch, every now and then she tells herself "I love coach" then smiles and hugs it. Thank you Sam, you made her whole life!!! And what else would you keep in a designer purse, but Screature your interactive dinosaur.

Wardrobe malfunction...

I have determined that Zeke thinks he is a dog. He "barks" when he is excited, chews on the dog toys, and is constantly trying to eat the dog food. He is a very cute puppy.

It has been a very busy couple of weeks! After talking to my dad over the 4th of July weekend, we decided to start looking for a house. I found an agent and started looking on the 10th. We walked into "our house" on the 13th. After looking at a grand total of 7 places we found one that we love. The home inspection was today, it went pretty well. The electrical needs a little work we are just trying to decide who is going to pay for it. I hope it all works out, if not you will take us in right???

Pantera is excited for the move, I have promised to paint her a dinosaur mural on her wall. Apparently she thinks all 4 walls should be involved, "The styrocasauraus here, dilophasaurus here, maybe a T-rex here..."

I love to watch her with her brother especially first thing in the morning "Good morning Bubby! How's urs doin'?" She mimics the way I talk to him, I think it is so cute. Then there is the way she is with Lacey (AKA the bad sibling) she fights with that dog like they are sisters! I have to tell her not to hit the dog and the most common response is "Well she started it!"

Now that we have Screature life is good at our house! When we left for church yesterday Pantera put him on the table in "guard mode" facing the door, she then told me "You don't need to lock the door mom." We bought the Prince of Egypt from the walmart $5 bin. Pantera is OBSESSED with Moses now! She thinks he is "A superhero and prophet mixed up!"

Pantera is also obsessed with Coach purses. I don't know where she got this from, I'm pretty sure it's just because they have letters on them, but she has to talk to anyone who has one and tell them that I won't buy her one. I explained that they cost about the same as a horse, then I asked her if she would pay that much for a purse, her reply "Yep!" What am I going to do???

Screature

This is all I have heard about for the last month!!! This is a commercial on amazon and Pantera memorized the entire thing after seeing it 3 times. She had to sleep in her own bed for 2 weeks to get this. I remember being her age and wanting a toy so bad, it was like that one toy would change your whole life. Take Screature for example, Pantera says "If anyone tries to steal my stuff, screature would attack! He will protect me. I love interactive dinosaurs!" She is great.

The house hunt if officially on. I looked at 3 houses on Friday. The problem with me looking is that I am incredibly cheap. Jess is more practical so he helps me weed these things out, I'm grateful for my hubby! Wish us luck.

The incredible edible dog!!!

Zeke has taken it upon himself to become the official taste-tester of EVERYTHING!!! I am glad we have Lacey, not many dogs would put up with this.

Speaking of Lacey, we have to get her fixed in a couple of months. This upsets Tera cuz she wants puppies. I explained the reasons why I don't want to deal with puppies and especially a dog on her period. So Pantera learned a little about female anatomy. A couple of days later I caught Pantera not wiping after going to the bathroom. When confronted she snapped back "Well how come when you wipe sometimes there is blood?!?" I told her that happens when I am on my period. She said "Oh, when there is no baby in your tummy?" I told her that she was right, then the light clicked on and she said "So your kind of like a dog, huh." Exactly.

4th of July was good-ish. The highlight of the holiday was staying out late enough to see and catch fireflies. I didn't know they were real until we moved here! Pantera got a kick out of this and told me "Mom you are amazing!" after I caught 2 for her. Jess caught her one as well, although he wounded his because he is not a professional like me. Our little borough was a drunken mess, I can't wait to move!!!

Zeke loves the tub!!!
