Cu-Cut

We have had family in town (more on this later), so I am WAY behind on my blogging! The day that Jess's side of the family left, I was standing in the kitchen talking to my cousin. Zeke pulled a pair of scissors out of the drawer behind me. I heard him say "CU-CUT!" in a very menacing voice. I took the scissors and thought nothing of it. A couple minutes later I went to get Amari out of her bouncy seat and a chunk of hair was laying next to her head! Somehow Zeke had managed to cut her hair in the 2 seconds he had the scissors without me noticing! He actually didn't do a horrible job...so if anyone needs a trim...lol!

Tiara and tutu

My sister-in-law Hannah made a cute tutu for Amari. I found a tiara at Pat Catan's and I just couldn't resist taking a couple pictures! We had a fun weekend with Jess' parents and sisters. We went to the natural history museum and Pantera was so excited to identify the exact species of frog that her beloved "tongue-tongue" was. She was also pumped to see the Egypt display but was sorely disappointed and said "This is not impressing me." Zeke ran around like a maniac and made dinosaur noises until he was tired out. We all went and saw Toy Story 3 last night, Zeke sat through nearly the entire movie! He's been carrying around his Woody and Buzz toys all day saying "Yeehaw!" Looks like I will be doing another toy story painting soon. At the end of the movie Pantera said "I think in Toy Story 4 she gives the toys back to Andy." It made me laugh. The kids had so much fun playing with their Aunts and I loved having adults around. Thank you for visiting!

3 months

Life has been good as always at our house. My cousin and her little family moved out here from AZ this past week, I am very excited to have them here! Pantera was so proud to introduce them to the members of our ward on Sunday "These are my cousins!" Speaking of Tera, she has been reading up a storm. I love to see how proud she gets when she finishes a little book on her own, she even read the bedtime story tonight. Zeke is getting closer and closer to the terrible two's with each passing moment. He loves to pretend to take pictures using just the external flash, he holds it next to his face and says "cheese!" I think I will be getting each kid a camera in the near future. In other news...
Amari is 3 months old! Time sure does fly. She giggled for the first time the other day. She is just the sweetest baby ever!
