Well, February was pretty much a bust this year. Jess lost his job due to some really jerky bosses near the beginning of the month. So we went into a mad scramble looking for work around here. The oilfield is not doing so great right now, the timing could not have been worse...have I mentioned what a jerk his boss was? I have some other choice words I could use for the guy, but we will keep this blog G-rated for the children.

First few days we focused on work here in PA. Nothing that wouldn't have him out of town for a lot less money then what he was making before. So we branched out to jobs in Colorado and he got one within a week. So now the house is on the market, yes the house that we have worked so hard to make it livable for our family. Jess started work last week and I am here with the kids missing him.  I can only pray that this all works out.

Pantera does not want to move. She has a boy that she really likes at school who is about a foot shorter than her, which is totally dreamy. He is actually a sweet kid and she likes him too, yet another reason to leave (enter evil laugh here please). She also has a best friend who she can count on no matter what the other bratty girls say or do. Last year she would have left in a heartbeat. That is just how life works unfortunately. She is really into the Percy Jackson book series right now and is #1 in her grade for accelerated reader points. Oh and she still loves One Direction, please tell me that is a banned band in Colorado?  Wait it isn't?!? Stinkin' hippies.

Zeke is excited to see his cousins because they love video games as much as he does. The month that Jess was off they had some quality game time together and Zeke LOVED every minute. They would look up how to defeat different levels in Mario and Jess being the awesome gamer that he is, could always get them "99 lives" I would hear him say pretty frequently "Mom isn't good at video games, but dad is." It is true.

Amari claims she is scared to meet her cousins. This is also what she said before Samarah and Spencer came to visit  she was all over them their entire trip. She is such a ham and will love all the extra attention from the extended family. She is going to miss her teacher, he is so awesome. She was bragging to her siblings that she knows his whole name "His first name is Mister" first name basis with her kindergarten teacher, you don't see that often. I asked where Zeke was the other day and she said "He is in the bathroom, can't you smell his sweet refreshment?" She is a creep.

Katurah is totally obsessed with Mario and does a mean Mario impression. She still loves you have to say, I still don't love you have to say but we deal. She loved her time hanging out with Jess before he had to leave. She has always been a bit of a Daddy's girl. She is doing great in speech therapy when we get to go. You can pretty much understand everything she says now.

Seneca is still our little bully. She has saved me this week, letting me hold her as she falls asleep every night. She has no idea how much that helps me feel loved. She has awesome names for her siblings now she calls Amari "Ha-wee" she calls Zeke "Geek-boy" and she calls both Pantera and Katurah "Tin tin" I absolutely love these names. She loves to play outside and is a trampoline fanatic.

This should all be quite the adventure, so glad I have my family to keep me sane.
