Not Waterproof

Amari loves my bras. I caught her walking away from the laundry the other day with one around her waist. She was very pleased with herself. Unfortunately, by the time I ran to get my camera she was sitting down and it lost a little of its funny.
Zeke had his evaluation on Friday. He qualifies for speech and occupational therapy. Aspergers syndrome runs in my family and he is showing signs of an autism spectrum disorder, so they recommended I get him a psych evaluation. It all sounds like a much bigger deal then it actually is. Basically Zeke isn't a social butterfly and he needs help learning how to cope with...well everything. I've seen what great things early intervention can do and I am really excited for my little man.

On another note, Zeke is in love with the ark Jess's uncle made for the kids. He has to eat and sleep with it, not the cuddliest thing in the world but he loves it.

Yesterday was my little sister's graduation party. She had live entertainment!

Pantera+karoake+a crowd=The best day of her life. She really rocked it out! Watch out uncle Alex, she's gonna give you a run for your money!

The other day Pantera walked lethargically into the kitchen wearing her flannel star wars pjs. She very dramatically said "I'm really hot for some reason. So hot I think I might die. I just don't know what is wrong with me!" I had to remind her it was 90* outside and she was wearing winter pjs. "Oh!" The next night, she asked Jess to point the fan right at her face as she was relaxing and reading a book. When Jess went to tell her goodnight she again very dramatically said "Dad, my eyes are burning and I don't know why!" Blonde moments from a very smart girl.

Pantera has big plans for her life. She is going to invent a "device" that will allow her to talk to animals. She is going to mass market the said device and rake in millions. She is going to use her money to buy a horse and travel the world helping animals.

Me: "That's perfect you can hire someone to take care of your horse while you are gone"

Tera: "I'm going to ride my horse everywhere to help animals."

Me: "What about when you have to cross the ocean?"

Tera: "My horse is a REALLY good jumper. But I should probably leave my device at home."

Me: "Why? Wouldn't you need it to talk to the ocean animals?"

Tera: "Duh, it's not waterproof!"

Me: "If you make a device that lets you talk to animals, why not make it waterproof?"

Tera: "How am I supposed to do that!?!"

Oh man, you make me laugh. I love the pictures of Tera singing with her eyes closed and with her hand up. She looks like she is really "feeling" the song ya know? ha. Yes, definitely good luck with Zeke, he'll get there. and what can I say about little A? she is so funny, lilly also likes to put underwear around her body...mostly her sisters underwear. wether they are clean or...well...or not. have a good week! when are you due again?
