Prenatals

Today I had to pick up a couple of things at the store. I haven't been feeling myself and I thought maybe I would try getting back on vitamins, it can't hurt right? So I pick up the bottle of prenatal tablets and Pantera asks "Are those for me?" I told her "No, they are for me." She replies "Oh, just in case you get pregnant huh?"
Zeke is progressing so fast! He started crawling about 2 weeks ago and now he is pulling himself up to standing, trying to go up the stairs, and clapping. What the heck?!? We had an agreement, I hinder his development and he stays a baby. I hate it when a plan is foiled!
Here is a picture of my new quilt, thanks again Terri and Anna!

Mobility

I have been such a slacker! I feel like I have mono and I don't want to do anything including blog. Maybe because now I get to chase around mr. crawler, who discovered where we keep the dog food and tries over and over to get into it. He also crawled off of the bed after his nap, looks like we have to put him in a crib.
Or maybe it is from the hours upon hours of bug hunting we have done as of late. Pantera would live outside if I would let her! She hurt her tushy the other day and I put a Hannah Montana bandaid on it she started singing "It's the best of butt worlds..." She has been surprisingly good the past couple of days.
This is my first commissioned painting, I hope you all can tell who it is.

I will post some more silly Tera stories soon.

Quilt

We got a surprise in the mail last week. I've been meaning to post a picture and I will as soon as I get a chance. Jess' Aunt Terri sent us a GORGEOUS quilt, she and her daughter Anna made it as a sealing present. It is huge and amazing. Thank you so much!!!

Zeke is crawling!!!

Horse drawn buggy, Hammond style!!!
Pantera likes to have deep conversations with me when I do my hair every morning. This past week the topics have really made me laugh so I will pass a couple on for you all to ponder.

Day One-
Tera: Where does Lucifer live?
Mom: I don't know.
Tera: Oh yeah, I remember. Jerusalem.

Day Two-
Tera: Do you remember how nice Jesus was to heal that bald guy?
Mom: I don't remember that story.
Tera: Yes you do! It's in the scriptures, Jesus healed the bald man!
Mom: Are you sure? I really don't remember that.
Tera: Yes you do! The bald man! The man with no eyes!!!
Mom: I think you mean blind man.
Tera: Oh yeah, that was nice huh?

Day Three-
Tera: What do babies wear when they are in your belly?
Mom: Nothing, they are naked.
Tera: EWW! That's gross. Why don't they wear any clothes?
Mom: Because I can grow a baby, but I haven't figured out how to grow clothes in my tummy.
Tera: Why don't you just swallow some clothes and a diaper and the baby can get dressed.
Mom: Babies can't dress themselves.
Tera: Just pay someone fifty-five bucks to go in your mouth and get the baby dressed for you!

FYI I have no idea where this last conversation came from, I AM NOT PREGNANT. She cracks me up!

Guess what Zeke can do now? He's crawling! He is into EVERYTHING!!! I am in so much trouble with this little guy because he just giggles when I tell him no.

Yowza!!!

This picture was to sweet not to share!
So I finished another painting, I've always wanted to do religious artwork and my beautiful sister Meredith was kind enough to be my model for Mary. I like the way it turned out and am learning more with each painting. I also got some great news today...
I sold my first painting!!!! My mom likes to show off my paintings when I email her pictures and a friend that she forwarded my Marilyn portrait to, wanted to buy it and commission another painting!!! This was very exciting for me thanks for letting me share!
