It has been a long while since I have updated this thing. The last several months have been nothing short of insane. We moved across country from Pennsylvania to Colorado. We had a buyer for our house in PA but due to a really bad appraisal it fell through. We were staying with Meredith and Jake and planned on a very short stay while we looked for a house here. That short stay turned into about 3 months and I am pretty sure they have earned there spots in heaven for putting up with us for so long! Some good friends of ours had shown interest in our house so when we offered them the opportunity to assume the mortgage they moved on it and we were able to buy a home out here...phew!!!

So we are just about settled. I am still not 100%  thrilled about living out here again, but I am sure I will adjust. The kids have had the chance to reunite with their cousins and Seneca got to meet them for the first time. She now refers to them as "my persons" and she loves both Hemit (Meredith) and Gake (Jake) with all of her heart.

Seneca is a crack up. She is pretty snotty and mean as the youngest tends to be, but cute enough that no one can stay mad at her. The other night she did something mean to Katurah, and Katurah told her "You are a rude baby!" Seneca not missing a beat replies "You a wude baby." Katurah broke down crying saying "I am not a baby!" And Seneca was completely unscathed.

 Katurah informed us after her first week at church "I have my first crush on a boy." Then she told us "It smells like my boyfriend in here." Then the next week this boy was not at church so she got herself a new boyfriend and when asked what happened to the first one she happily replied "He just got dunked on!" AKA she dumped him. Out of sight out of mind.

 The oldest 3 kids started school this past week. They have uniforms for the first time which Pantera was far less than thrilled with. They all seemed to do pretty well. Amari was so happy to tell us that her teacher has 2 chickens. She and Pantera are quite the animal lovers. Amari asks me everyday to go to the humane society to see the dogs. She also knows I am a sucker so there is a good chance she could come home with one.

 Zeke is currently obsessed with Mario. I made him a super awesome Mario themed bedroom. He loves to watch videos about the different games Nintendo has made and really loves "glitches" he  will just talk your ear off about it and is anxiously awaiting the release of the NES classic system. He is quite the jokester (or so he thinks) and likes to tell people silly lies to trick them. He loves his Aunt Meredith and is especially goofy around her. He would sneak up on her and scare her sometimes. Then one time he pinched her really hard and just laughed and laughed...totally out of character for him but she just brings it out of him.

 Pantera is just getting to old. She is way into Once Upon a Time and is in love with Captain Hook. Now the younger girls only know the Hook from Jake and the Neverland Pirates so they think she is a big old creep. She and her cousin Ryan are just a few months apart and they would play together like best friends then fight together like siblings. There was so much 11 year old drama when they were together for so long. But after some distance they are begging to hang out again. I wish we could live closer, right now we are about an hour away due to crazy house prices:(
