I got a referral for a speech therapy for Zeke about a month ago. I called what felt like a million places and finally was put on a waiting list somewhere. My wonderful sister was kind enough to use her counseling resources to look up some phone numbers for me and again, no luck. I was talking to a mom in my ward about this and she told me she had just had early intervention at her house and they are free if your child is under the age of 3...HELLO!!! Why on earth couldn't any place that I called tell me that? So 2 weeks later Zeke's case manager met with us for the first time. I'm now waiting on a phone call to set up his evaluation, but he is almost sure to get in. I am so excited for some progress and I'm especially pumped to understand him better. So a big thank you to Meredith and Christine for the help!!!
