I would like to start by saying happy fathers day to my dad and to my husband! Pantera was in the fathers day spirit, she started out the morning by smelling him and saying "you're bisgusting!" Then she made him a card. I helped her by writing "Happy Fathers Day" on the front, she got upset and said "How many times I told you? That's to many letters!" Then I showed her that she can open the card and write in the middle and on the back and she was appeased. The middle of the card had all the letters that she could figure out how to draw and of course a huge H because that's the letter that she draws the best! On the back she drew her Father, the lines on his face are his "Pokey Fings" AKA stubble. What looks like it should be his neck are "Feet of course" and she even drew his hands which are the little lines coming out of the side of his head. At church she was very happy to get to sing during sacrament. When they finished singing and she came to sit down (when everyone else was quiet, naturally) she has the most surprised look on her face and exclaimed "That was a Fathers Day song!" Kind of like-how did they know it was today!?!

That's a pretty detailed picture of Jess. When they do developmental screenings for 3 year olds in Head Start they ask them to draw a person and they look for at least 3 parts (head, hair, feet, etc.) She got lots of parts. I like the pokey things the best. Love, Mary
I love the picture! Looks pretty close to the real thing! J/K, but it is really cute! What a talented artist just like her mom. I just hope you don't teach her how to paint by numbers!
That would be bisgusting!
I love it!
You know what I wondered how they found out it was fathers day at church, they are so amazing like that!
It is fun to watch their drawing and their letters get more and more detailed. Oh Pantera, she sure does keep us all on our toes. Miss you guys.
