Our Daily Celebration

What's the most exciting thing that can happen 2 to 3 times daily??? "BABY KATURAH IS AWAKE!"Zeke usually leads the parade, it is the cutest thing, all the kids get so pumped when they hear her stirring in the bed. They all go running upstairs and smother her with kisses and try to make her laugh. I don't know if there has ever been a baby more loved by her siblings in the history of the earth.

 I must say, I can see why they are all so taken with her. She hams it up just right for each of them.

 And here she is making sure her daddy knows how much she cares. He just got home from work and I caught the look on her face when she first saw him for the day...priceless! He had to run inside for something, but she cried when he walked away, so she got to go with him...he's whipped.

 Pantera has been enjoying her summer break and has had friends over on several occasions. The last time I made a deal with her that if she cleaned her room she could invite her friend. Well she "cleaned" it alright, I found out while her friend was over that she stuffed all of her clothes that she didn't feel like putting away in the laundry (about 2 loads worth!). This is one of her oldest tricks and she so knows better. So her friend had to leave the minute I found this and she got to learn how to do laundry. I made her wash and fold all the laundry in the house (again about 2 loads worth). She was mad at first but is actually really good at it. So when she was all done, I gathered a bunch of clean stuff and threw it in the laundry and informed her that she would have to do it as well...just like she does to me...the payback was awesome and I hope she learned a lesson.

 She informed me that when she is president she is going to "outlaw laundry." I told her our nation will really stink then. After her gaining a little respect for what I do, we have had a great couple of days. She has been extra helpful with the other kids and really sweet...maybe so I don't make her do any more work.

Miss Amari thinks she is so big and she is getting there. She is so protective over Pantera. Jess and Tera like to play wrestle at night, but Amari gets so upset. She looks for Tera first thing every morning and tags along with all of Tera's friends. Pantera is very sweet and always lets her join in on the fun. After playing with Amari, one of her friends asked his mom if he could have a little sister, she is pretty great.
