Miss Katurah was due on November 12th. As we got closer to her due date, I was MISERABLE. I am not big on complaining and I know no one likes the last month of pregnancy, but I don't remember being in so much pain with any of my other kids. I had yet to deliver without pitocin so I was just ready for an induction. I went into the dr on the 9th, I had been having contractions for weeks, and really bad ones for a couple of days. I was almost in tears in the office because they were so intense. The dr said I should go to the hospital. I told him no. He can't seem to grasp that I have to be pumped full of pitocin to get past a 3. So he said he would see what he could do, but he was going on vacation so no promises.
I recieved the most glorious phone call of my life that afternoon, it was the dr informing me I would be induced sometime early the next morning....scratch any negative comment I may have made about the man in the past, I just might love him at this point. Contractions continue so we head to the hospital around 3 am, we get a call saying they are ready for me while we are on our way. I takes a couple hours for intake, around 6 they hook me up. Unfortunately they weren't as pit happy as I'm used to so it took FOREVER! I got an epidural, that was nice. Around 3:45 I wanted to push. They got ready, I pushed I think 6 times and hear the dr ask how big my other babies were "because this one is up there!" Sure enough she was 8lbs 13oz. I can't even explain the relief I felt the second I pushed her out...poor organs.
The kids all love her so much. I had her dressed in a Lightning McQueen shirt so she would win Zeke over. Pantera was so excited to meet her and took pictures into her class. Amari was happy but I think she thought Katurah was a doll, then Katurah cried and Amari was thrilled! Her face was priceless. She has been all over Katurah ever since, "helping" wherever she can. She even tried nursing her.

Congratulations! She is so pretty. I am happy for you and glad that all is well with you and Katurah.
Sorry for some reason yours and Meredith's blogs haven't been showing up on my dashboard. But I will be checking in and being a pain more frequently now.
