Why do people smoke???
Has anyone else had a young child who is obsessed with why people smoke cigarettes. It is driving me crazy! Pantera asks me everyday (especially if we pass someone who is smoking) why do people smoke? I try explaining to her that while everyone knows it is bad for their bodies, it is hard for some people to stop doing it and this is why we never start. She then asks why it is bad for our bodies. I explain that it makes our eyes and nails yellow, it hurts our lungs, it makes us smell and it eventually kills us. Her reply is always "Kills us...then why do people smoke?" AAAAAHHHHH!!!! Then it starts all over again. She has been talking about this for over a month now with no end in sight. Jess is worried that she is going to start smoking by 5. Does anyone have any ideas so I can explain this to her better so she will understand? Is it normal for this to bother her so much? On a less frusterated note, she loved primary today!!! She was so excited because she got her first CTR ring, and because (SURPRISE!!!) "class wasn't boring today."

Hey there! So glad Primary wasn't boring for her.
As far as the smoking you might want to check on the internet and see if you can find help for her to understand and show her some pictures. You might even want to compare it to something she loves and how hard it would be for her to give it up. My kiddos always thought it just smelled bad and then they asked I answered and that was that. Good luck! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
Glad to see you guys are enjoying your new place. I think you guys are doing a great job at being constant on your knowledge and beliefs about smoking! Just keep at it I guess? Hope you are feeling good with all that's transpired recently. Not to much longer til baby! I have a new phone number. I would have emailed it to you, but I don't have your address. If you want it I guess you can have it:)
Whatever! I heard that you have a big pile of pioneer bones in your backyard...bisgusting!
